What we collect. Your email, chosen display name, campaigns you create, contributions you make (amount, time, display preference), comments, and standard device analytics (screens viewed, feature usage). Payment card details go directly to Stripe, we never see or store them.
What's public. Your display name (or "Anonymous", your choice per contribution, or always, via Settings), your leaderboard placement, your comments, and crowns you've won. Individual contribution amounts appear on open campaign leaderboards. We never publish totals you've spent across campaigns on any profile surface.
Anonymous means anonymous. Contributing anonymously hides your name everywhere public, with zero penalty to rank.
What we never do. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. There is no messaging system, so nobody can contact you through DidHePay. Creator discovery/browse does not exist, nobody finds your profile unless you share your link.
Analytics & aggregate insights. We record product events (campaign created, viewed, funded, contribution made) to run and improve DidHePay. Analysts see pseudonymous identifiers, never your name or email. We may publish or license aggregate, anonymized statistics, for example, "birthday campaigns fund 2x faster in June", computed only across groups of 100+ users, never in cuts that could identify anyone. We never sell, license, or share individual-level data with anyone, and we have no data-broker relationships. Under CCPA/CPRA "Do Not Sell or Share": we don't, so there is nothing to opt out of. Comment text is never used as analytics. Deleting your account removes you from analytics datasets within 30 days.
Who we share with. Stripe (payments + payout identity verification), Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting), and Apple (notifications). Each processes data under its own agreements.
Retention & deletion. Delete your account any time in Profile → Safety & privacy → Delete account. This permanently removes your login and profile. Records of completed payments are retained where the law (tax, anti-fraud) requires.
Your rights. Ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to erase it: support@didhepay.com.
Children. DidHePay is 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and delete such accounts on discovery.
